I want to leave a lasting impression on the world. When I leave this world physically, I want to be remembered as someone who made a difference, someone who contributed to what the world is today. A history forgotten would mean catastrophe; the morals of history forgotten would be the trigger of the Apocolipse. My dream is to teach the world something worthwhile. I don't exactly want my own person or name to go down in history, I'd probably be remembered as the anti-social girl who spent far too much time thinking and not enough time partying, but all that really shows is how screwed up our scoiety's priorties are. About 80% of my class doesn't even know where Darfur is and think that slavery does not exist in the modern world. Pathetic. Ignorant. It breaks my heart.

I do love to rant, but I'll have to stop myself before this goes off too far on a tangent. I can always rant about this another time.

Learnig the world's history is vital. How can one who does not kow the history of our fathers prepare for the future? As useless as my fellow peers deem it, learning our history is important. Surely those who don't know the history will repeat its mitakes time and time again (at this point I could once again rant about the atrocities going on in darfur). It would completely ruin the whole point of recording events and even having a history itself and then make our own abilities to learn from experience virtually useless.

Now that I've read over this, I can say that it sounded a whole lot better in my head. Oh well. All I want is to really reach the masses and to teach them something that will be handed down generation to generation. I want to make mistakes so that our posterity can learn from them and do better.

Please, expect furture rants about the thoughts whirring around in my head at alarming rates. Hopefully, they will be more collected next time I decide to post them.
